Hi,
I’m Dr. Tasleem Ahmed
welcome, and thank you for being here

Dentistry has been my passion for as long as I can remember. It’s a career that has allowed me to combine science, artistry, communication, and care all things I love into one incredibly rewarding journey. However, at the heart of everything I do are two very important people my daughters. They are my biggest motivation, my grounding force, and the reason I strive to live a life full of purpose, learning, and balance. While I wear many professional hats dentist, educator, mentor, blogger being a mum is my most cherished role.
I was born and raised in London, and it’s here that I built the foundation of my dental career. After qualifying, I was fortunate to work at King’s College London (GKT), one of the world’s leading dental universities, as a part-time clinical teacher in restorative dentistry. Teaching there sparked a lifelong passion in me not just for clinical excellence, but for helping others grow.
I went on to found Longwood House Dental Practice, where I practiced and led a team for 18 wonderful years. That practice was my professional home for nearly two decades. I focused on general and cosmetic dentistry, and over time, developed a particular interest in Invisalign, orthodontics, occlusion, implants, and periodontal care. I trained extensively across the UK and abroad from Harley Street to Paris to Brazil constantly evolving, learning, and refining my skills. I’ve had the honour of working alongside some of the world’s most talented dentists and technicians, which has shaped the way I approach dentistry to this day.
Learning has never stopped for me, it’s a way of life. I truly believe that the best dentists are the ones who never stop being students.
After selling my practice, I entered a new phase in life. I now work as an associate in a few carefully chosen practices where I can focus on what I love most complex restorative work, orthodontics, and mentoring younger colleagues.
This new chapter has also given me the time and space to pursue something that’s been on my heart for a long time sharing what I’ve learned. That’s how Tips by Dr. T. Ahmed came to life.
Warmly,
Dr. T. Ahmed
Dentist. Mum. Mentor. Forever student.
