The Everyday Habits That Save Smiles

Let’s face it—most dental problems don’t arrive overnight; they creep in through tiny daily gaps. In clinic, I always come back to three simple wins:

  • Brush smarter, not harder. Two minutes, twice a day, gentle pressure, and let an electric brush do the work.
  • Clean the “in-betweens.” Interdental brushes or floss where the brush can’t reach—this is where gum health is won.
  • Fluoride rules, rinsing doesn’t. Spit out toothpaste foam and skip rinsing after; let the fluoride stay and protect.
